- Along with Bobby Abraham and Larry Tooke at the computing department at the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, I organised the first South Africa university computer programming competition. The competition ran fairly well and we did a subsequent presentation about it at the 23rd Southern African Computer Lecturer’s Conference.
